Locum Tenens Opportunity for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners in Louisiana!

Practice Setting

 

  • Inpatient medical setting focused on adult care
  • Solo APP coverage during shifts with MD on-call support
  • Collaborative environment with hospital and nursing staff

 

Schedule

 

  • 7 on/7 off night shifts 
    • Assignment runs through April, with potential for extension
    • Flexibility in schedule adjustments as needs evolve

 

Procedures and Cases

 

  • Manage critical care patients, focusing on vent management
  • Patient volume averages 8-10 on service per shift, with 1-2 admissions
    • No procedures required, but will handle admissions

 

Requirements

 

  • Must hold Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
  • Minimum of 24 months of relevant experience
  • Active Louisiana or IMLC license
